Algarve Sailing Trips - Availability and Typical schedule

Private sails and charters are usually available from April to November.
Sailings usually start at varying times (see table above) and this may depend on the time of year and sea conditions - please consult the table above for an approximate time. We will confirm all of the precise detais in good time. Remember you will need to build in time to get to the point of departure at either Albufeira or Vilamoura.

What is included in Algarve cruises and boat hire

Please consult the table above for any meals/drinks included. Additional drinks can always be purchased on board.
Transport is not included in our Algarve cruise packages (because the cost of transport to the point of departure depends on where your hotel is and which port we sail from) but ask us for a quote for a transfer once you know the hotel !
Drinks are available on board.

How much does it cost ?

Charter and cruise prices depend on the size of your group, usually it works out less per person for larger groups ! You'll find a guide price to the right of this page in the list of Algarve group acitivities. These are rates that apply to large group sizes.

What else do I need to know?

Private charter cruises are usually available for group size from 12 upwards. Smaller groups can either pay the minimum amount (12 persons) or we can recommend a public cruise.
Need transport to the port for this activity? We can offer a low-priced minivan transfer, usually this will cost less than €10pp (depending on precise pick up point). Many hotels are within walking distance of the Ports !
The Atlantic Ocean has to be taken seriously and can throw up swells and choppy seas. Your crew will always make sure the sailing activity is conducted with safety in mind.
Safety is important at all times and you must heed the rules and advice of the crew.
